we are staying at port Orleans French quarters for Christmas and have breakfast reservations at chef mickeys at 730 Christmas day. is there transportation that early

Hello Theresa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It has always been a dream of mine to wake up at the Walt Disney World Resort on Christmas Day! I can just imagine all of the excitement from all of the kids and parents. There are always such stunning decorations throughout the Theme Parks and the entertainment always makes me smile.

I looked ahead to the Theme Park hours for December 25, 2015. It appears that all four Theme Parks open at 9:00 a.m. Complimentary Resort Transportation typically begins service approximately 45 minutes to park opening, and continues up to one hour after park closing. In addition, the buses operate until approximately 2:00 a.m. from the Disney Springs (formerly known as the Downtown Disney Area.)

To answer your question, it does not appear that there will not be Complimentary Resort Transportation at that time of the morning. However, I would like to suggest that if you do not have a rental car, that you use a cab service. You will only need a cab to get you from your resort hotel to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for your breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. By the time you are finished with your breakfast, you will be able to use resort transportation! Whenever I need to call for a cab, I always go to the Concierge desk and the cast members have always been wonderful to work with! They seem to always have great insight and have never steered me wrong!

I hope that you have the most magical Christmas celebration. I will be thinking of you all on Christmas Morning!
