    Kathryn from MA Asked

We're staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. What's the closest place to watch fireworks? Our 3 and 1 year olds won't be up for a lot of travel. We're going in January.

Greetings, Kathryn, welcome back with this excellent question about Fireworks Shows at Walt Disney World Resort.

How exciting it is that you'll be visiting the 'Happiest Place on Earth' and be a Guest at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. Did you know about all the exclusive benefits you'll have as a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, such as Disney's Magical Express® for example?

Viewing the fireworks from your Resort Hotel might be a bit difficult because of proximity and trees that block the view. In my opinion, you can get great views from Disney's BoardWalk Resort for Epcot's IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth while enjoying a comfy seat and an ice-cream on the BoardWalk Promenade. To view Wishes nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park, may I suggest heading to the Marina patio at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or from the pool patio area at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Check out Disney's Planning for Kids online resource with great tips, information, a downloadable guide and sample itineraries.

    Best Wishes!
