We are staying at POR. We purchased the Disney Dining plan and plan to use the counter service meal for breakfast, snacks for lunch, and table service for dinner. Besides the food court at our resort, where else ann/should we have breakfast?

    Hi Catherine,

You are in for a real treat, staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This lovely resort has a calm, southern feel. I am happy to share some ideas with you for counter service meals for breakfast on which you can use your dining plan credits.

It is a great idea to eat some breakfasts at your resort. This will get you off and running to the theme parks quickly in the morning. At your resort, you can visit the Riverside Mill Food Court. Another quick and easy breakfast option for you would be to stroll along the river to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. There, you can visit the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. This location features beignets - and they are delicious!

Take a look at this list of counter service locations that you can visit with your dining plan. I suggest that you further narrow the list by choosing a location that you will be at to search for dining. On mornings that you are not dining at your resort, you might want to look at the theme park or location you will be visiting. For example, at Epcot, Sunshine Seasons offers some great options, or if you are at Disney Springs check out Wolfgang Puck Express.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Catherine!
