    Hi!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is a hard question.  The cabins at Fort Wilderness are nice and provide a lot of room.  However, Fort Wilderness itself is very large and spread out.  There is an internal bus system to help you get around, but some of the cabins can be far away from a bus stop; you can request to get a cabin close to a bus stop, but it would just be a request.

My recommendation would be to consider getting two rooms if you need the space at a small resort, such as Port Orleans French Quarter.  Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest resort on property.  There's only one bus stop and it is easy to get to the pool, front lobby, and food court.  The only issue with Port Orleans French Quarter is the water slide there is not that exciting, especially for older children.  However, as guests of French Quarter, you can use all of the services and amenities at Port Orleans Riverside, including its pool with its longer water slide.  You can take a boat to get from one resort to the other.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
