Hi! Staying at Pop Nov/Dec 2017 and have the QS dining plan, now that dessert is no longer included and I really want to try the 'grey stuff' at Be Our Guest for lunch. Can I use my QS credit AND a credit card purchase for appetizer/dessert?

    Hi Angela!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I'm so happy to hear you're planning to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan while on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My family loves the convenience of the Dining Plan - knowing that all of our meals are taken care of before we travel. With over 100 participating restaurants, we're always able to find amazing dining locations to please everyone in the family.

So, it sounds like you've heard about the "grey stuff" at Magic Kingdom's Be Our Guest Restaurant - it's delicious. Don't believe me, ask the dishes! (Or, just ask me! I've tried it, and I agree!) No worries if you'd like to add a little something sweet to your lunch. You're more than welcome to use a Quick Service meal entitlement  for your meal and use another form of payment for your dessert. When you enter the ordering area at the restaurant, you'll be directed to either a self-service kiosk to place your order, or a cashier. As you enter, there will be a Cast Member to ask how many are in your party. I would let that Cast Member know you'll be using two forms of payment, just in case it's best for you to order directly from the cashier.

Moms Panel Tip: If you'd like to add an appetizer as well, I recommend the French Onion Soup. My daughter is obsessed with French Onion Soup, and she says it's the best she's had!

I hope this helps, and you'll soon be enjoying the deliciousness of the "grey stuff"! Have a magical day - Diane W.
