dining with Minnie at Cape May

Staying at pop. Want to make early morning ressie for breakfast at cape May one day and whispering canyon another. Before parks open. Only using Disney bus. Is this possible

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charles! Complimentary bus service from Disney’s Pop Century typically begins 45 minutes before Theme Park opening so if your breakfast reservation is early in the morning, you will have to consider alternative transportation.

Let me recommend a relatively new method of transportation, the Minnie Van Service, which works through the Lyft app. Once you open the app on your mobile device from your Disney Resort location, it'll prompt you to select where you are going. You can simply follow the steps, just like you would on any other taxi app. The best of all, though, is that Minnie Van drivers are friendly Disney Cast Members who are trained to take you where you need to be with great conversation and a smile.

After your meal at Cape May Cafe, you can take a bus to the parks from the Disney's Beach Club Resort or, if you're going to Epcot that day, keep in mind that it is just a stroll away! If you are going to Disney's Hollywood Studios, there is boat transportation from this location as well.

The day of your reservation at Whispering Canyon, you should perhaps do the same thing (use the Minnie Van service from your hotel) to avoid being rushed. Since Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located in the Magic Kingdom Area, you might want to visit Magic Kingdom Park to make the most of your day. I would also advise you to use the FastPass+ service to take full advantage of your time in the parks. Every time I have a sit-down breakfast reservation, I try and strategize for FastPass+ selections so that I can relax and enjoy my early meal as much as possible.

I hope this information helps you a bit.

    Happy Disney Dining,
    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
