We will be staying at pop century. Was just wondering...do we need to have a braclet to enjoy the extra hours? It seems like i read that somewhere. But last year when we went to Disney I don't think we had to have one. Thanks

The procedure for Extra Magic Hours (EMH) differs depending on whether you are visiting the EMH during the morning or evening. For the morning EMH, you would just go to the park at the early entrance time. Cast members will ask to see your room key to prove that you are indeed staying at a WDW resort. Once they see the key, they will let you into the park. No wristband will be needed.

The evening EMH is where the wristbands come into play. Since many non-resort guests will be in the parks prior to EMH (which is for resort guests only), Disney needs a way to identify the resort guests who are eligible to stay in the park. Beginning about two hours prior to the EMH, there will be several wristband stations set up in the park. Simply go up to one of these, show them your room key, and they will give you a wristband allowing you to stay for EMH. If you are entering the park near the start time of EMH, they will ask to see your room key at the entrance turnstiles and will give you your wristband there. Resort guests may enter the park at any time after EMH has started, they'll just have to show their room key at the turnstiles and get the wristband.

    Hope that helps.
