Staying at Pop Century and we have a preferred room. In the 50's buildings, which ones should we try to request? Besides location to transportation, food, etc., what are the view options? We will have a 5, 2 year old children and 6 adults.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diane. Thank you for this great question.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a great choice of accommodations! It is located near Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the theming is incredible, spanning 20th Century Pop cultures, embracing the manner in which people lived, communicated and played. Did you know that Disney Imagineers worked with many of the original manufacturers for creating icons? The massive toys and objects on display were originally digitized and then full-size foam replicas covered in fiberglass were created.

The Preferred Rooms place you close to Classic Hall- check-in lobby, the Everything Pop food court, and arcade. These rooms can be found in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, with the 50’s and 70’s three arms being the closest to Classic Hall.
Preferred Rooms in the 50’s building 3 have lake views of Epcot with building 1 being the closest to the food court. The 60's embrace The Hippy Dippy Pool. The 70’s building 6 will give you a lake view.

    Tips:
During Online Resort Check-In make your preferences known, as you will have the option to select sections, floors, near transportation and a lake view.
