We are staying at Pop Century in June 2018. Which would love to get a renovated room. Can you tell me which rooms/buildings have completed their renovations so I know which section to request for the on-line check in?

    Hi Kendra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Speaking like a local at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, I have to say, “wow, do those renovated rooms ever look rad!”

I believe rooms in the 90's, 80's, and most of the 70's sections of the resort have been refurbished. Your best bet for requesting a refurbished room is to call Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 934-7639 and add the request to your reservation. When the images of the newer beds, room layout, and extra storage space in the refurbished rooms first surfaced, Guests were super excited, so be aware that there is lots of demand for the refurbished rooms. Walt Disney World’s Cast Members want to sprinkle pixie dust on your vacation (I wonder if the pixie dust is tie-dyed at Pop Century?), and will do their very best to accommodate you, but please remember these requests cannot be guaranteed.

Enjoy your totally tubualar time at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Kendra. I’ve heard amazing things about The King Cupcake (chocolate, banana, and bacon!) at Everything POP Shopping and Dining…and don’t forget they have the iconic Dole Whip there too!

Wishing you a magical – and groovy – vacation,
    Robyn
