We will staying at Pop Century for a few days in August before we move over to our vacation club resort Saratoga Springs. We booked a preferred room at Pop Century. Are preferred rooms always in a certain building, like the 60's?

    Hello Jennifer!

Pop Century Resort is my all time favorite Value Resort in Walt Disney World!  The preferred rooms at Pop Century are the 60's and in part of the 50's and 70's.  All that a preferred room means is that it is in the section closest to the main building (Classic Hall) where the food court is located and it is closer to the bus transportation to the Parks.  The design and layout of a preferred room is exactly the same as a standard room in Pop Century.  Essentially you are paying a little more per night for the convenience of being close to Classic Hall. If you want a quieter room, then request to be in a room on the top floor, facing away from a pool area.  I typically don't see the value in paying extra per night for a preferred room, but I would rather walk a little further to save some money!

I hope that you have a magical stay in Pop Century and Saratoga Springs on your trip to Walt Disney World!
