    Debra from NJ Asked

We will be staying at Pop Century at the end of August for 1 week. Is there any room requests that anybody really loves. Not sure as this is my first time here. Also I am looking for a time for the Fort Wilderness campfire &how to get there from Bliz.B

Hi, Debra!   I think a lot of people get worried that if they don't make a room request that they are going to get a "bad" room.  In reality, the rooms are pretty much all the same at each resort (unless you are upgrading for a view, suite, concierge, etc.)

At the Value Resorts, there are only 2 choices when you book:   preferred or standard.   All this means is if you book a preferred room, you will be a few steps closer to the main building with the food court and bus stop.   Even from the "far away" standard rooms (which my family usually books at the Value Resorts) it is maybe a 5 - 7 minute walk to get to the lobby.   Really no big deal!

So you really don't need to request a room location, since this will be dictated by the type of room you booked.  What you should request (if you have a preference) is a 1st floor room, or higher level if you prefer, and the biggie is if you want connecting rooms if you booked 2 rooms.    Other than that, just go and enjoy Pop Century!

To get to Fort Wilderness from Blizzard Beach, just hop on a bus that will take you directly there (buses are clearly marked with their destinations - look for Fort Wilderness.)  Enjoy your first trip to WDW!
