Hi, Rohidas!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I was so excited when I saw your question since it deals with some of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort topics!  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is one of my most loved events.

One of the reasons why I like staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is its convenient access to the monorail transportation system.  It is quick and simple to travel from this resort hotel to Epcot.  You can hop aboard the monorail just outside of the second floor of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's Great Ceremonial House.  From there you will ride the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and transfer to another monorail that will take you directly to Epcot.  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is actually located very close to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  Depending on which part of the resort your room is located in, it may even be quicker for you to simply walk directly over to the Transportation and Ticket Center to board the Epcot monorail.  I stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort this past June, and my room was in the portion of the resort near the Transportation and Ticket Center.  From my room, it was only about a five-minute walk to the Epcot monorail.

I usually like to give myself at least an hour to travel from place to place around the Walt Disney World Resort property.  There are many factors, such as crowd levels and traffic, that can affect travel time.  If you need to arrive at Epcot by a specific time for a dining reservation or FastPass+ time window, be sure to allow yourself some extra time.  That being said, it typically does not take more than 30 minutes to travel from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to Epcot.

When making dining reservations at Epcot you have so many incredible choices.  You mentioned that you were considering Italian food.  Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is my personal favorite Epcot restaurant.  Their pizza is some of the best I've ever had.  On our last visit there, my husband and I shared the lasagna, and it was also amazing.  If you are interested in catching a performance of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, you may want to think about booking an Eat to the Beat Dining Package.  Just be sure to save room to try all of the delicious items at the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival - Global Marketplaces.

I hope you enjoy your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and your visit to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!  ChEARs!
