We're staying at the Polynesian Resort for the first time during our upcoming trip! What is the best way to get to Hollywood Studios? Thank you!!

    Hey, Sarah!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Get ready to be transported to the beautiful South Pacific with lush palm trees, flavorful beverages at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and a volcano...ok it's a volcano waterslide. You will love Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

The easiest and least expensive method to travel is by catching the complimentary Walt Disney World Bus Service to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Buses usually run every 20 minutes. The trip should take you around 30 minutes with up to 60 minutes during peak traffic times. Walt Disney World Resort, however, recommends you budget 90 minutes when traveling hither, thither and yon within the Resort area. That being said, it has never taken us 90 minutes to travel anywhere.

If you want a private direct route then seek the services of Uber/Lyft/taxi. The travel time will be shorter and will cost around $10-15 (Prices may be higher or lower due to Surge pricing).

Disney Dad Tip: One of the best features on the My Disney Experience Mobile App is "Get Directions." Enter any two Walt Disney World Resort destinations and turn-by-turn instructions will be available including travel time.

Sarah, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
