Staying at the Polynesian May 1 - May 8. Plan on taking advantage of online check-in. Any reccomendations on what building to request. Will have two small children. Have a garden view room. Also, what are the crowds and weather typically like?

Aloha!  The Polynesian Resort is one of our favorite resorts, and our favorite longhouse (or building) is Tokelau. It is centrally located making short walks to both the Great Ceremonial House (monorail to Magic Kingdom), the Ticket and Transportation Center (monorail to Epcot), and bus stop (buses to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, and water parks). The quiet pool is next to the building, too. And one of the perks of the resort is while it doesn't provide direct views of the Magic Kingdom, if you step out (I prefer first floor rooms) and turn to your side, you can often see the castle!

I'd you'd like to see more about the resort, I'd encourage you to visit www.tikimanpages.com/. Similarly, www.castleconcierge.com recently ran an article about the perks of staying at Tokelau.

With schools still in progress, the crowds should be smaller. The average temperature in May is 88.

    Have a great trip!
