We will be staying at the Polynesian Hotel - we have a studio room. Are there studios near the children's pool? I have two grandchildren ages 7 and 3 and would like to be close to this area?

    Hi Janet!

Thanks for stopping back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question about the deluxe studios at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The pool area at this fabulous Resort hotel is among the best in all of Walt Disney World Resort! My kids absolutely love the children's splash area as well as the zero-entry Lava Pool with its 142-foot slide; I definitely understand why you'd like to be close by!

Here is a map of Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. The studios are located in three of the Longhouses: Moorea, Tokelau and Pago Pago. These are not labeled on the map, but I will walk you through it! If you click on the link to the map above, you'll see a blue marker. The blue marker is on the Moorea Longhouse. Looking at the map, the Longhouse to the left of Moorea is Tokelau. (The Tokelau Longhouse is adjacent to the all-ages Oasis Pool.) The Longhouse across from Moorea is Pago Pago.

I suggest making a request for Tokelau, as it is the closest to the Lava Pool and children's splash area. We recently stayed in a studio at Tokelau with our three children, and the walk to the pool took us just a couple of minutes. I think you will really enjoy this location. Keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed, but in my experience, Cast Members do their very best to accommodate you.

I hope this helps with your planning, Janet! If you have any additional questions, please stop back and let me know; I'd love to help!

    Wishing you pixie-dusted memories!
