Staying at the Polynesian Christmas week and would like to use the extra magic hours, however I read that bus transportation only begins one hour prior to park openings. Is a taxi the only option for arriving early for morning magic hour lines? Thank you!

    Hi there, Elaine!

During early Extra Magic Hours (EMH), one designated Park will be open for Resort Guests. The general public may not enter the Park until regular opening time. In order to use the transportation and enter the Park, you'll need a valid Key to the World.

Disney buses and monorails will also run earlier for that Park only. Early boat transportation varies by resort.

A Park with evening EMH will be pen two to three hours later than normal closure for Resort Guests. Each person in your traveling party will need a wristband to take advantage of this perk.

Approximately two hours before the regular Park closing time, Cast members will set up wristband distribution points. Each member of your traveling party will need to show a valid Key to the World card.

The Disney buses and monorail will also run later for that park. Later boat transportation varies by Resort.

Incidentally, you are just a quick walk from the Polynesian to the Ticket and Transportation center, main hub for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Have a wonderful time maxing out those hours!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
