We are staying at the Poly for 6 nights in Sept. Our party includes 4 adults and 1 2 year old. We booked the deluxe dining plan, but now I'm wondering if we should change that to regular dining and upgrade to club level. Which is better for the 2 yr old?

    Hi Elizabeth!

You are going to LOVE the Polynesian Resort! Between the koi ponds, volcano pool and Tonga Toast, Polynesian is one of my favorite resorts!

The Club Level rooms offer personalized concierge service, advanced dining itinerary planning, evening turn-down services (complete with chocolates), access to the Club Level lounge, which has refreshments throughout the day, continental breakfast every morning, wine and cheese in the evening and evening cordials and desserts.

The Deluxe Dining Plan (DDP) is great because you can have three meals and two snacks a day, per adult, per night of your stay, your meals will include an appetizer, entree, non-alcoholic drink and a dessert.

As far as which package is best for your two-year old, quite honestly, neither one of the benefits will really affect her stay. Since she is two, she is too young for the dining plan, she can just eat off of your plate during the meals. Also, many of the club-level benefits will not really affect her.

The main factor in choosing between the two is asking yourself if you plan to spend more time in the parks or the room. I'm guessing that your two-year old would like to spend more time in the park, so the DDP would be a better option. You can book dining experiences with the characters using the DDP, which she will love. If you plan to spend a lot of time at the resort, the Club-Level benefits might work well for you because you can eat all of your meals at your resort.

No matter which one you choose, I know you will have a magical time!

    Magically,
    Stacy
