Staying at the POFQ. I know you can take a boat to POR to their pool & restaurant, but can you also walk or is it too far? We would like to eat there in the morning (what time do they open) on the day we leave but we have to be ready for ME pickup @ 10

Earlier this year I walked from the food court at Port Orleans French Quarter to the Food Court and Port Orleans Riverside. I was meandering along at a very leisurely pace and it took me about 20 minutes. I'm guessing that if you moved with a bit of purpose in your step you could do it in 10. There are lovely walking paths between the two resorts. The signage is good, but the front desk of your hotel will also provide you with a map.

Boatwright's, the food court at Port Orleans Riverside opens at 7:30 a.m. You'll have plenty of time to eat there and make it back to the French Quarter for your Magical Express bus.
