    Hello James,

How exciting that your first Disney Cruise Line vacation countdown has begun!

One of my favorite aspects of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is that virtually every part of your onboard experiences is included in your cruise fare.  This includes:  your stateroom, breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks at meals and at the ship's beverage stations, soft serve ice cream and snacks, many room service items, Broadway-style theater productions, family-friendly and adults-only entertainment, Disney Character interactions and first-run movies.  While on board, there are a few optional items that are available at an additional charge, including:  spa treatments, alcoholic beverages, photography services and Port Adventures.  In addition, gratuities are not included in your fare, however, you can arrange to pre-pay them if you prefer to limit additional costs at the end of your sailing.

While you are on board, there is no need to carry cash or credit cards.  All incidental expenses will be billed to your stateroom folio.  When you arrive at the Disney Cruise Line terminal in Port Canaveral or when you complete your online check-in, you can present a credit card to be used to settle your account. I do recommend that you carry cash and/or credit cards at ports of call, however for any purchases you would like to make.

Given that your flight back home is a bit later in the day, and assuming that you are using Disney Cruise Line ground transfers to Orlando International Airport, I recommend allowing time to explore the airport.  The airport is loaded will well-themed shopping venues and restaurants, that could easily consume several hours as you wait for your flight.

    Have a wonderful trip!
