Hi Elizabeth!  Congrats on your upcoming Walt DIsney World vacation!

You will absolutely love Port Orleans French Quarter and I am pleased to tell you that there are grassy areas all of the property with lots of room for kids to run and play or have picnics.

In my opinion, building 5 is great because it is located adjacent the main pool on one side and a large courtyard area on the other  making it ideal for children.

You can view a full map of the resort by searching AllEars.net.  This will enable you to familiarize yourself with the layout of the buildings and will help you to choose the best location for your family!  Please note, specific requests cannot be guaranteed, but cast ,embers will do their best to accommodate you based on availability!

Thanks for your question!  Hope you have a magical vacation!
