    Yvonne from england Asked

hi we are staying at pofq at disney florida this christmas could you please tell me which parks are best on christmas eve -christmas day and boxing day.

Hi, Yvonne!  I have always thought the best park to be in on a day that is super crowded is EPCOT, and last year on Christmas Eve, I really confirmed that as my belief.  We arrived just prior to rope drop on Christmas Eve last year, got Fast Passes right away for the one thing that was most important to my girls, and we managed by the end of the day to do everything they wanted, plus enjoy a fabulous dinner at the Rose and Crown and see the Candlelight Processional!  EPCOT is a really large park, and even on the busiest days, it seems to be able to comfortably accommodate a crowd.

We don't celebrate Boxing Day here, but if it were up to me, I'd probably use that day to go to the Magic Kingdom.  There are so many people that will want to be at tthe Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, that by December 26th, you should be able to enjoy the park a little better.  It will still probably be very crowded, but if you avoid the capacity crowds of the two more popular days, you may find you have better luck.

Another good park to visit on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day is Disney's Hollywood Studios. We always manage to have a good day here, even on the busiest theme park days.  Be sure, as with EPCOT, that you immediately get a Fast Pass for the one thing that is going to be the most important to your family, then play the rest of the day by ear.  We always head right for Toy Story Midway Mania, as those will probably be the first Fast Passes that run out.

    Have a wonderful holiday!
