Staying at P.O. Frch Q. - arrive at MCO at 3pm. Have 6 &5 yr. old. Should I make a dinner resv. nearby or can one go for swim and hit downtown disney in enough time to get a goodnite sleep to hit park next am???

    Hi Janet,

With regard to meals, I always like to play it by ear on the day of my arrival to Walt Disney World.  That way we won't miss out on any advanced dining reservations if our plane is delayed.  I suggest you head to Disney's Port Orleans Resort upon arriving at Orlando International Airport. Will you be taking advantage of Disney's Magical Express Service?  It's a wonderful, complimentary transportation option for Disney resort guests.  Explore the resort you'll be calling home for the next few days and then head to Downtown Disney.  There are plenty of great, kid-friendly places to grab dinner there.  My nephew loves T-Rex and my son enjoys Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express.  These are just a few of the dining options that await you at Downtown Disney.  Then you can head back to your resort after dinner to rest up for your first full day in the Disney theme parks.

    Have a magical trip!
