Alan from rio de janeiro Asked

Hello! I am staying in a participating hotel (Fort Wilderness) and my flight is American. My flight leaves at 7pm and it is an Internation flight (going to Brazil). I am not using magical express. Can I still use resort airline check-in? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Alan,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I potentially have some good news for you! First, you don’t have to be using Disney’s Magical Express in order to be able to use Resort Airline Check-In. You only have to be flying on one of the participating airlines (including American Airlines).

From what I understand, international flights are eligible for Resort Airline Check-In but there is a catch. From what I understand, all of the “legs” of your journey home must be with a participating airline and, often, Guests on international flights are selected for “traditional” check-in at Orlando International Airport.

Bottom line: it may work for you, but make sure that you have an alternate plan that will allow you to make it to the airport in order to check in, just in case!

    Have a Magical Day,
