Hi! We are staying on-property but other family members are not. Can they come with us to Extra Magic Hours?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Joy ~

Thank you so much for coming to us with your question. I have family in Florida and they often join us at Disney World during our trips.

One of the perks of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is being able to take advantage of morning and evening Extra Magic Hours (EMHs). Valid theme park admission and a resort I.D. is required to enter during EMHs. Tickets and hotel room keys can be linked to your MagicBands or cards so Disney World Hotel Resort Guests only need to present a MagicBand or card currently linked to enter the parks during EMHs. Yay! Fewer things to keep up with in the parks. If you want to take advantage of EMHs, keep in mind that if you do not have the Park Hopper option on your tickets, you can only visit the park offering EMHs on that particular day.

Even though Guests are linked on My Disney Experience under "My Family & Friends", each Guest ages 3 and over are required to present their own ticket and proof of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to enter a theme park during EMHs. The family members who are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel will just have to wait a bit longer and catch up with you.

If you have purchased your theme park tickets and have linked them to your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to make Disney FastPass+ service (FP+) selections together with your extended family prior to your trip. Guests staying at a non-Disney resort can make FP+ selections 30 days in advance.

Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
