We are staying at Old Key West and beyond excited. If we land at 8:30 am can we check our carry on bags at the resort while we go to the parks? What time can we reasonably expect to get to a park?

    Hi Thomas!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here, so I know you must be excited! It's time to put the finishing touches on your plans, pack and then get ready for lots of FUN!

Disney's Old Key West Resort is such a beautiful place to stay with the amazing golf course views and the palm trees swaying with the breeze. There's just something relaxing about this resort, so I really hope you enjoy staying there as much as I do! If you're planning to take Disney's Magical Express from the Orlando International Airport to the resort, I would suggest planning for about two hours to get there. Hopefully it won't take that long, but it will take you some time to make your way from the plane to the Ground Transportation Area and then check in and board the motorcoach. It's about a 30 minute ride to the resort, but your bus might make a stop or two at neighboring resorts on the way. Once you arrive, you can definitely check your carryon bags with the Bell Services team then hop on a bus for the theme park of your choice. These buses run every 20 minutes, and it should be about a 15 (or so) minute ride to the park. So all in all, I would plan for around two and a half to three hours to get to a theme park once you arrive at the airport. And I'll send a little pixie dust with the hope that you'll make it much sooner!

Have a wonderful time on your trip and make lots of magical memories. If you think of anything else, we'll be here if you need us!
