    Andrea Asked

Hi, We are staying at OKW in January 2013 and I would love to take my eldest daught (3) to the tea party with Alice and the Mad Hatter. How much does this cost? She probably wouldnt want to stay on her own, would i be allowed to stay with her?

    Hi Andrea,

Wonderland Tea Party is a fun, hour-long party for children ages 4-12.  It's filled with stories, games, character interaction with Alice & The Mad Hatter, cupcakes and "tea" (apple juice).  Parents only stay for the first 15 minutes or so and then are asked to leave.  If your child still has difficulty separating from you, you may want to wait until your next Walt Disney World vacation before trying this experience.  Right now the cost ranges from $36 - $60, depending on the time of year you visit.

There are some other options you might enjoy together.  Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is one of my favorite character dining experiences.  The food is delicious and Mary Poppins and her friends are there: Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter and Alice.

My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party
is an experience for children 3-11 and a parent.  During this party, "Rose Petal," a magical rose from Princess Aurora's garden that has come to life, entertains guests with songs and stories.  Children are given a special 18-inch doll and other special gifts to remember the experience.  It is rather expensive at around $250 per child and accompanying adult, but it is a beautiful event.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
