We are staying offsite (1st trip). Halloween party 9/16, AK 9/18 and MK 9/20. We have Tusker reservations at 8:50am & none at MK. How should we plan our days? 4y boy and about 40" tall. We definitely want the safari. Thanks

    Hi Regina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Since you have the early morning Tusker House Restaurant Reservation, I suggest that you spend the morning and early afternoon at Disney's Animal Kingdom, including taking an expedition on Pandora - The World of Avatar. If you have not checked, see if the Rivers of Light Dining Package with Tusker House Restaurant is available for a breakfast reservation at the same time or earlier than the one you have. If so, the dining package will give you access to a reserved seating area for the show. The last time we dined at Tusker House Restaurant, it took at least an hour and a half for the characters to all reach our table.

When planning, I suggest that you make your Fast Pass+ selections for Kilimanjaro Safaris for 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or near that time slot. Then do your remaining two Fast Pass+ selections back to back afterwards. When our girls were 5-years old, they loved The Festival of the Lion King show. Check the Animal Kingdom Attractions List to see what else might work for your little one at his height.

Regina, on your second day at Magic Kingdom, if you can, get an early morning breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. We always make one for 8:00 a.m. on a day that the park does not have early morning Extra Magic Hours so that we can make a quick dash for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train once we finish breakfast. Also, try to catch the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade before you leave. Our girls love the floats and characters!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
