We are staying offsite. I purchased my tickets online and are waiting for them to arrive. From reading your forum, I see that I will have to purchase magic bands, however I think we still have ours from a previous trip. Can they be reactivated? Thanks!

Hi Susan, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

While using MagicBands to access your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, FastPasses, and Disney PhotoPass while touring the Walt Disney World Theme Parks is not mandatory, it is definitely a handy, convenient and fun way to do so.

Susan, I am happy to confirm that provided your MagicBands are less than two years old, you should still be able to use them on an upcoming trip. Once a MagicBand is associated with your My Disney Experience account, it will remain active and can be used to retrieve any future Theme Park Ticket media you linked to your account. Therefore, once you receive your new Walt Disney World Tickets in the mail, simply enter the barcode on the back of the ticket into each guest's My Disney Experience account, thereby linking the ticket to the account. At that point, any MagicBands associated with the account will be able to access the new ticket media.

Susan, I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any other questions regarding your tickets, MagicBands, or anything else, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible upcoming Disney vacation!

    Magically Yours,

    Trish
