Mom and Child wearing Magic Bands

We are staying offsite but purchased magic bands for FPs, etc. Can we link Disney GCs to our magic bands & use to pay for things in park?

    Hi Amy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to love using MagicBands during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It is so nice to have access to your theme park tickets, FastPass+ reservation and Memory Maker account with just the touch of your wrist. While Guests who are staying at a Disney Resort hotel can make purchases using their MagicBand, those purchases are all charged to their hotel room accounts. Unfortunately, there is no way for Guests to link a Disney Gift Card to their MagicBand, so you will not be able to make purchases using your MagicBand. In my experience, when I have vacationed at Walt Disney World Resort using my MagicBand without charging privileges, I still loved having my MagicBand so I didn't have to worry about keeping track of my admission card during my magical theme park day.

Please let us know if you have other questions as you continue to plan your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
