We are staying offsite and will probably be parking in Mickey & Friends or the Pixar Pals parking structures. Are their buses that will take us from their to the park entrance?? Hoping so, that is far to walk for our little girl! Thanks.

Greetings, Brianne, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disneyland Resort adventures will be here before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!

As the mom of three Mouseketeers ages 7 and under, I understand how tired little feet can get, so I’m happy to report that there is a tram available to transport you from the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures to the end of Downtown Disney District, which is adjacent to the Main Entrances of both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll find the tram loading area conveniently located at the bottom level of the recently-opened Pixar Pals Parking Structure. Guest parking in both Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures share this loading area. First, you’ll head through a security checkpoint before getting in line for the tram. This new tram loading area is efficient and easy to follow, which is why I always enjoy parking here!

You’re also welcome to bring a stroller for your little Mouseketeer, so long as it’s no larger than 31” wide and 52” long. You can either fold up your stroller for the tram ride, or wait in one of the lines toward the front or back of the tram for a larger tram seating area you can lift your stroller into, without needing to collapse it. You can also choose to rent a stroller upon arrival at the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Stroller rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Another option is to walk to the Downtown Disney District Monorail Station, located near The LEGO Store. After passing through a security checkpoint and showing your valid theme-park ticket at the Monorail Station, you can board the Disneyland Monorail for a ride into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. This is a great way to avoid lines at the Main Entrance, and save your little one some steps! Just keep in mind that the Disneyland Monorail will be closed between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM throughout the month of September.

Keep an eye out for the new Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge, which is set to be completed by mid-September! This new bridge will connect Guests directly to Downtown Disney District by going over Magic Way and eliminating foot traffic. I can’t wait for this Bridge to open soon!

Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
