We are staying offsite for our Disney vacation coming in October! Party includes: Me, my wife, and our 2 year old daughter. My wife and I would like to have magic bands. Does our daughter need the magic band as well for fast passes?

    Hi Cody!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort. MagicBands will make your Walt Disney World Resort so easy and convenient. I love that we have our theme park tickets and FastPass+ reservations right on our wrists so we don't need to keep track of admission tickets throughout our vacation. Guests under 3 years old receive complimentary admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, so they do not need tickets. Also, since they are not ticketed Guests, you will not need to make FastPass+ reservations for them. When you are redeeming a FastPass+ reservation, simply let the Cast Member at the front of the queue know that your little princess is under 3 years old and she will be granted entry to the attraction through the FastPass+ queue with the rest of your family. Since she does not need theme park tickets or FastPass+ reservations, she does not have to have a MagicBand. When I bring my little guy, who is also 2 years old, he likes to have a MagicBand just like all of the big kids so he can touch the Mickey touch point at the theme park entrances and FastPass+ queue entrances, but it's not required for you to have a magical family vacation!

Since you are purchasing MagicBands, you should consider getting a custom MagicBand on Demand from one of the locations at Walt Disney World Resort. I love to design a MagicBand with the perfect design for me, a color to match and even add my name to it! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
