Staying off-site beginning Jan. 17. Moving to Contemporary Jan. 21. Can we add paper tickets to our package so that we can go to the parks on Jan. 18-19 before checking in on 21st?

    Hi Lori:

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. What an unforgettable way for you and your family to start the new year! You will absolutely love staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It is one of my family's favorite Disney resort hotels too.

When booking a Magic Your Way Vacation package, including hotel and tickets, the tickets are always linked to the check-in date at the resort. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to use the tickets associated with your resort package until the 21st. In your situation, you may certainly purchase additional tickets for use from the 18th-19th, and then link them to your Disney account. Linking your additional tickets will allow you to access them through your Magic Band or card. You can also make FastPass+ selections and reserve dining and entertainment for those two days as well. Not only that, but if you download the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device, you'll experience even greater flexibility and control over all your vacation plans. You may purchase additional tickets online here.

If your off-site days could take place after your stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, the most economical option would be to simply upgrade your tickets by increasing the number of admission days on your current reservation package. Since tickets expire 14 days after their first use, you could utilize any remaining admission days after checking out.

If you have any further questions, please let us know. We'll be more than happy to assist you.

Wishing you a most memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
