I am staying off site but I was wondering if I could visit the Fort Wilderness (or any Disney resort), specifically for the bon fire. Am I able to do so if I am not staying there?

Hi Lisa! If you are looking for some Disney magic when it comes to an evening bonfire I strongly suggest you head over to the Fort Wilderness Resort. You do not have to be a Disney resort guest to come and enjoy this fabulous experience.

What makes the Fort Wilderness one just a little bit more fun is the fact that it is Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong. This is located near the center of the resort next to the Trading Post, main pool, and Bike Barn. The time changes for the seasons so be sure and check before heading out. They light the fires about 30 minutes before the show and they sell all the ingredients including a stick for s'more making at this location or you can bring your own.

The show is 30 minutes long and is full of dancing and singing with live musician and of course Chip and Dale. They will come around to all guests for a meet and greet so bring your cameras and autograph books. When the show is over you are more then welcome to stay for the Disney movie under the stars in the same location.

Guests who drive to the resort will need to park in the front and then hop on one of the internal buses. Let the driver know where you are needing to go and they will let you know which stop is best for you. Buses run late into the evening so no need to rush back. Enjoy!
