    Heather from MS Asked

We are staying off site and will only be purchasing park tickets. What information do I need to know ?

    Hi, Heather!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm excited you have a chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Visiting the parks and Disney Springs is not terribly different from when Guests visit and stay on property. A few of the things you should know is you can use your hard ticket to get into the parks and use your FastPass+ reservations. But you will not receive a complimentary MagicBand to use in the parks. You can purchase one at one of the many Disney Parks stores on park property.

If you want to schedule FastPass+ reservations, you can do that 30 days before your arrival. Guests who stay on Disney property can schedule those reservations 60 days in advance. Also, if you plan to drive to Disney World each day, you will need to pay for parking. Once you've paid to use one park parking lot, you are free to drive over to any additional park and not need to pay the fee again for the day. You are welcome to use the Disney Bus or Monorail Transportation if you want to park hop!

I hope that helps you plan out your visit! Let me know if you have any additional questions!

I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
