We will be staying off site. We still have our magic bands from our Dec 2013 trip and they show "active" in My Disney Experience. We want to link our tickets to these bands. Will they still work? Can we go straight to the gate?

    Hi Kevin,

You may link theme park tickets to your Disney account, even if are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Linking Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience account will allow you to use touch point technology to enter Disney theme parks, retrieve advanced dining reservations, accessFastPass+ selections, make purchases on-property, connect to Disney Memory Maker and so much more!

If your 2013 MagicBands are showing as "active," then your valid admission tickets will be associated with the MagicBands through your My Disney Experience account (provided the tickets have been linked). Any active MagicBands linked to your Disney account will seamlessly grant you access to your linked theme park admission. Once the tickets are linked, you'll be able to lock in those FastPass+ choices up to 30 days in advance of each theme park visit day. Any reservations booked ahead of time will also be associated with your MagicBands.

Disney Mom Tip: Before your FastPass+ selection date arrives, be sure to match admission tickets for each member of your travel party through My Disney Experience. Once this process is complete, all you have to do is go to the theme park or water park, touch your MagicBands to the touch point at the Main Entrance and enjoy your visit!

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
