Hi Moms! We're staying off site this Dec., how far in advance can I make a few dining reservations?

    Hi Janice,

Choosing dining experiences is my favorite part of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. All guests -- regardless of whether they are staying on Disney property or off-site -- can make advanced dining reservations 180 days in advance.

Because dining reservations open much earlier than FastPass+ choices, I like to sketch out our overall itinerary, which parks on which days, when I set up dining. Then, when the FastPass+ window opens I can schedule rides and attractions around our meals. You will be able to choose your FastPass+ options 30 days in advance of your visit as a guest who is not staying on Disney property.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janice. Please let us know if we can answer other questions for you or offer dining recommendations as you make your plans. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Wilma, Florida

We live 90 miles from Walt Disney World and have visited frequently for 20 years. Disney is the place our family can relax together, try new things (especially interesting food) and have conversations, no matter what park we visit or where we stay.
