Hi! We are staying off site with our 5 children in June 2019. When will park hours be released? Also when can I make dining reservations, and do I have to have a purchased ticket before making reservations? Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you stopped by for help with planning your upcoming vacation! As a fellow mama of five Mouseketeers, I'm so excited to hear that you'll all be able to enjoy a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort together! You'll surely make memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm happy to hearthat you're already in planning mode! You're about to hit a big planning milestone when dining reservations become available 180 days in advance. There are so many delicious options to choose from! You won't need to have your park tickets purchased yet, as anyone is able to make dining reservations, but they will be required for access to any restaurants that are inside a theme park. You'll also see the calendar showing park hours for your trip around that same time, as the calendar generally updates around 180 days in advance. Once you start to choose your restaurants and which parks you're going to visit on each day, you'll really see your itinerary come together! So exciting! You will want to make sure you purchase your theme park tickets and link them to your My Disney Experience account at least a couple of months before your trip. You'll need valid tickets to be able to make FastPass+ selections, and that planning window will open up for you one day at a time, 30 days ahead of time.

Have a blast planning your visit, Kim, and please let us know what other questions you have! We'd love to help you plan all along the way! I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
