If we are staying off resort for this trip can link our magic bands that we had from a prior trip?

Hi Karyn, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be really excited for your upcoming trip in a few weeks?

I love collecting MagicBands from previous trips to use them on future trips. As long as your MagicBands are still listed as active in your My Disney Experience account you will be able to use them on this trip. To check the status of your MagicBand, sign in to your My Disney Experience account and click on the “MagicBands and Cards” tab. You will see a list of “active” MagicBands. If your band is still active, you are all set and will not need to change anything. If it’s “inactive” you can change the status back to “active” and you are good to go. If you purchase any of the special or limited edition MagicBands available for purchase in Disney Springs or any of the four theme parks, they can easily be linked to your account by entering the 16-digit code printed on the inside of the MagicBand.

You may want to double check the “My Reservations and Tickets” tab to make sure your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to use any MagicBand linked to your account to enter the park, redeem FastPass+ selections and even add photos to a Memory Maker account. Yes, MagicBands are truly magical. Have a wonderful trip and if you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
