I am staying off property - if I wanted to ride the monorail and see the Disney hotels but not go to the parks- would I park at the Magic Kingdom and take it from there?

I just love touring the resorts!

Arriving WDW property, follow signs toward the Magic Kingdom. You'll need to stop at the tollbooth and pay the daily parking fee.

You will begin your adventure by parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Sometimes called the TTC. One function of the TTC is that it serves as the parking area for the Magic Kingdom. You'll want to board the resort monorail.

When you see the sign that says "Magic Kingdom Monorail" enter the queue for the "Resorts" rather than the "Magic Kingdom".

"Please stand clear of the doors", and then you'll be on your way. From the TTC, the monorail stops at the Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and then back at the TTC.

If you wish to do shopping at Downtown Disney, you could also use the complimentary parking there. Then, take a bus to your first resort such as the Polynesian. After visiting the Polynesian, take the monorail to the Grand Floridian. When done with your resort tour, take a bus back to Downtown Disney.

    I hope this helps!
