    Tammi from CA Asked

Hi we are staying off property and will have a rental car. We have family staying on property and they will use the shuttle. Can we park our rental car at their hotel for a fee and ride their hotel shuttle into the parks?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tammi! I just know you’re more excited than Meeko with a cookie about your upcoming vacation; it’s just around the riverbend!

If you’d like to join your family at the parks, I’m afraid you’ll have to use the main theme park parking lots on Walt Disney World Resort property. Hotel parking lots are reserved for guests of the resort, but you will have only three hours of complimentary parking at the hotel in case you would like to enjoy a meal at one of the fabulous Resort restaurants with your family. Otherwise, you must either pay for parking at the parks or UBER to the front gates. If you choose to purchase a day’s worth of parking at any park, you can use that pass to park hop and flit back and forth. Simply display your pass in the front windshield and show it to the parking attendant. Next time you visit Walt Disney World Resort, consider staying at a Resort hotel for the many extra magical benefits such as MagicBand use, early FastPass+ access, complimentary resort transportation and Resort parking, as well as Extra Magic Hours and keeping the magic with you when you return to your room.

I hope you have a fabulous trip, and if you have any more questions, please stop by the panel again, We’re hEAR to help you! ~ Lindsey P.
