Magic Bands

I am staying off property but still ordered Magic Bands for ticketing and Fast Pass ease. Can I link a credit card to the band as well for purchases at the park?

    Hi, Stephanie!

You are really going to enjoy the convenience of using a MagicBand during your visit to Walt Disney World. It is so nice not digging around in your tote bag looking for your park tickets. Even my teens who can lose just about anything seem to keep track of their MagicBands with it being snapped to their wrists!

MagicBands will store your theme park ticket information and your FastPass+ selections. (MagicBands would also be your room key if you were staying at a Disney Resort.) However, the MagicBands do not hold any financial information, so you cannot link your credit card for charging, nor can is store any Gift Card numbers.

Just for future knowledge, you can charge back to your room with your MagicBand if you are a Disney Resort guest and have a credit card on file. No worries, however, that you are staying off property, you just need to pay as you go with cash, credit, or Disney Gift Card.

Have fun with those magical MagicBands. There is something so satisfying holding up your MagicBand to the touch points and watching that Mickey circle turn green!  Or maybe I am just so easily amused - but either way you can't deny it is fun!

Have a super vacation in Walt Disney World.
