We are staying off property and will be driving to the parks each day. What is the least expensive parking option? Transportation Express? Should we buy a Park Hopper, or is it cheaper to just pay for standard parking each day?

Brenda! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost hEAR! You’re so close, and I can’t thank you enough for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning.

I’ve got some great news for you. Once you’ve paid for parking at any one of Disney’s theme parks, your parking pass is good for the entire day, at any park! If you’ve purchase a Park Hopper option, you can either park hop using the awesome transportation options, or grab your car and change parking lots (though the bus system or water crafts will be MUCH faster!) Here are some great hints to get from one park to another and back, if you'd like a cheat sheet. I’d park at the Ticket and Transportation Center because has easy access to both Epcot and Magic Kingdom, and you can ride the Monorail!

If you’d like to consider the new Express Transportation option, it allows you to park hop at the speed of The Incredible’s Dash! Available for a set price per day or cheaper for the duration of your vacation, it will allow you to have backstage access and zip from park to park.

Don’t forget that the My Disney Experience mobile app is an awesome tool to manage your visit, navigating your way around with complimentary WiFi, resort wide. It’s a great way to look for characters, get step-by-step directions and peruse menus for tasty lunch. Please let me know if I can help you and further… I promise I’m nearly as handy as Genie! ~ Lindsey P.
