We are staying 6 nights and have reservations for ea. night to eat. When reviewing, I realize...1-Epcot 1-MK 2HW, and 2AK However, we will likely be spending the least time at AK and Hw. Will the travel time be not worth it to go out of parks to eat?

Hello my neighbor to the North (I live in Iowa!)
For my family, some of the dining experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort are certainly worth the travel time. For example, on a recent trip, my family traveled from our resort hotel to Disney's Hollywood Studios just to eat at the 50's Primetime Café. We use the travel time to decompress from the hustle and bustle of the parks. But there are a few things to take into consideration. Travel time is greatly dependent on things like which resort hotel you are staying in and whether you will be driving or using Disney transportation.  Also, traveling from your resort hotel to a theme park (or vice versa) is pretty effortless. A little more work and time is needed if your are traveling between two different resort hotels. In the latter case, we sometimes opt for a readily available taxi cab.  So, I guess my answer to your question is- it depends! But, if you were interested enough in a dining venue to book a reservation, I am guessing it will be worth the drive!

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
