We're are staying 6 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort and have 6-day tickets with park hopper. We need to use the ticket before it is time to check in at our resort. How do we activate the tickets (or bands) to enter the parks before check in time.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Penny! You’ll love the wildlife that flocks through the grounds of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort. The savannah view rooms are a piece of heaven!

Before you leave on your vacation, you’ll want to complete Online Resort Check-In within My Disney Experience. This will activate your MagicBands and check you into your Resort, so that all you need to do is step of Disney’s Magical Express and hop on the bus to the Parks. There will be no front desk stop needed! You’ll be able to assign a charge card and private pin number for room charges all throughout the Resort as well as notate any room requests you may have. When your room is ready, you’ll receive a text notification to your phone telling you your room number, or notify you that Cast Members need you at the front desk upon your return. If you used your yellow DME luggage tags, bell services will bring your luggage to your room as soon as it arrives from MCO airport (typically 3-4 hours after you deplane).

If I can help you with any more magical vacation questions, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
