dining with Minnie at Cape May

We are staying at the Movie resort and have breakfast scheduled at the Beach club on April 27th. The breakfast starts at 8:55am. What is the best way to get there and how early should we leave the hotel. Not looking to take a taxi/uber. Thanks!

    Hi April!

There's no better way to start the day than at Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Minnie Mouse and her friends are there to entertain guests, and will stop by each table for photos and autographs - it's tons of fun, and the buffet is amazing! My daughter and I dined there on her birthday in September and it was such a great experience.

On the morning of April 27, 2017, the buses to Disney's Hollywood Studios should begin running one hour prior to park opening (9am), so the first bus should depart around 8am. My suggestion would be to arrive at the bus stop by 7:45am to make sure to catch the first bus of the day. Once you reach Hollywood Studios, you can hop on a Friendship Boat (right past the entrance to the park, you'll see the boat launch), and take a short boat ride over to Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Guests may also walk to the Beach Club from the entrance of Hollywood Studios - it's about a 10-15 minute walk along Crescent Lake, over to the Boardwalk area, and across to the Beach Club Resort.

I hope this helps with your planning. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

    Have a magical day - Diane W.
