We will be staying with a 21 mo old and 4 yr old for 4 nights at AoA. We want 1 rest day and r going to seaworld 1 day and 2 days at Disney prks. Should we do MK 2 days or MK 1 day and then another Park? On a tight budget so trying to avoid Park hopper tku

    Hi Laurie -

This is a great question, and with the number of Parks, rides, attractions, and events at Disney World, this question as a number of correct answers.

Here's my gut: don't decide in advance.  I would head to Magic Kingdom on your first day.  There is so much to take in, you won't want to rush through it, especially with two young children.  At the end of the day, if you feel that you didn't fully see all that you wanted to see in Magic Kingdom (and I'm betting that will be the case), then return to the Magic Kingdom for the second day to hit the attractions you missed (and re-ride the ones you loved).  Magic Kingdom is so large, it's generally considered a "two-day Park."  However, if after the first day, you feel you've experienced enough of Magic Kingdom, then choose to visit a different Disney World Park your second day.

I also agree not to opt for the Park Hopper this vacation.  Not only will you save money, but with young children, it's often difficult to Park Hop.  Plus, with only two days dedicated to Walt Disney World, you lose valuable Park time in transit between Parks.

    Enjoy your vacation.
