    Morgan from MD Asked

Staying at a local hotel, not a Disney resort. Once I get to a park do I have access to Disney transportation? I would like to make reservations at some of the resort restaurants and would need a way to get there.

    Hi, Morgan!

You will find that once you are on Disney Property, getting around is a snap, whether you use buses, monorails, or ferry boats. The transportation is complimentary, so feel free to use it as needed. Some locations might be walkable. For example, if you are at  Epcot, it is just a short walk via the International Gateway to the restaurants at the Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club, or Beach Club. So convenient!

Please be aware that there is a daily parking charge for those guests who are not staying at a Disney Resort. You will only need to pay one time a day, so keep your receipt if you plan to change parking lots.

Remember that even though you are staying off property, you are still able to book dining reservations 180 days in advance, and you can make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance. Make sure you have your My Disney Experience account open and ready to go to get all your plans arranged and organized.

Mickey and Pals can't wait to see you real soon!
