We are staying at a house about 2 miles from Animal Kingdom. Can we use a taxi, Uber, Lyft or other ride share to get to the park? Is there a fee or charge for these vehicles to enter the Disney property?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura! With your vacation coming up soon this summer, it's really smart of you to start planning now to get the most out of your time at Walt Disney World Resort. I saw your question, and I've got some advice for you about how to get to where you need to go when you're there.

While you're staying at your vacation home, you can certainly use a taxi or ride-sharing service to get to Walt Disney World Resort, and there's no additional fee for being dropped off at a theme park. When you pull up to the entrance of the parking lot, just let the Cast Member know that you're being dropped off for the day. If you're going to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom, you'll be taken to within walking distance of the entrance to the park. If you're going to Magic Kingdom Park you'll be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can catch the ferry boat or the Express Monorail to get to the entrance. If you also want to return home using a taxi or ride-sharing service, follow the signs as you exit to find the designated pick up area. You can also ask a friendly Cast Member to point you in the right direction!

I hope this helps, Laura, and let me know if you have any more questions.
