I am going to be staying at a hotel that is not at the resort can I still use one of the childrens programs while visiting? If so how much do they cost. The hotel I am staying at does not offer any child care.

The childcare centers at the WDW are only for the use of guests staying at the Disney resort hotels. However, Disney does contract in-room sitting with several extremely reputable agencies in the Orlando area. These services will send sitters to other off-site hotels in the area.
Two that Disney has relationships with are Fairy Godmothers (407-277-3724) and Kid's Nite Out ( These agencies have sitters that will watch children of all ages. They generally come to your room with a games, books, or small craft projects. They will put the kids to bed and then stay in the room until you return.

To this service you need to contact one of the companies above directly.

    Good luck!
