We are staying at the Grand Floridian in Outer Bldg - Lagoon View Room. 2 adults, 4yo and 10mo. What kind of room would fit us better with a crib? 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elyse! We’re so happy you stopped by to bring us your question.

I’m thrilled to learn you are planning a stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Every time I walk into this resort's sumptuous lobby, it takes my breath away! This resort will welcome your family in all the best Disney splendor you can expect from a place this beautiful. And you can’t beat the location; just a monorail stop from Magic Kingdom. Swoon!

Elyse, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort rooms are probably the largest on-property. With this additional room and comfort, I think you can choose either option and it will work for your crib needs. Personally, I would choose the two queen beds so you don’t have to worry about pulling down the couch bed when you need it. But if you prefer the added room of a king size bed, then enjoy the lavish comfort, stretch out, and relax in the plush king-sized bed after your fun-filled adventure days at the parks.

During your visit, don't miss the Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks. These fully equipped baby and parent havens are the ideal spot for changing, feeding, and taking those well-deserved breaks.

I hope you have a most magical time during your visit. Don’t forget to mark your calendar with all the important planning dates like your 60-day FastPass+ advanced reservation date, and your 180-day Advanced Dining Reservation booking window.  And be sure to enjoy all the added benefits of staying right where the magic happens.

    See ya real soon,
